Senior Network Engineer (Ekahau/ Juniper exp)
Milestone IT is partnering with a leading enterprise organisation to recruit an experienced Network Engineer to support a major network lifecycle refresh across a large retail environment on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the replacement of existing Dell networking infrastructure with Juniper solutions while conducting predictive wireless surveys across an established store network.

As a Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for planning and supporting wireless network deployments by conducting predictive site surveys and providing technical expertise throughout the network refresh program. You'll work closely with project teams to ensure new network infrastructure is designed and implemented efficiently with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct predictive wireless site surveys using Ekahau.
- Design and validate wireless network coverage for existing retail locations.
- Support the rollout of new Juniper network infrastructure as part of a large-scale lifecycle management (LCM) project.
- Work with cloud-based network management platforms to monitor, configure and optimise network performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Produce technical documentation and survey reports with recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the networking industry.
- Proven experience conducting predictive wireless site surveys using Ekahau.
- Strong understanding of enterprise wireless networking principles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-managed networking platforms, ideally:
- Juniper Mist
- Aruba Central
- Experience supporting network refresh, deployment or migration projects.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
- Relevant networking certifications (CCNA, JNCIA, ACMP or similar) will be highly regarded.
- Initial 6-month contract with potential extension.
