We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join the Franklin Templeton office in Singapore.

Communication Services secures and supports Franklin Templeton’s global voice and data networks. Our globally distributed team partners across infrastructure, data centre operations, and application development. Joining us offers exposure to modern network technologies, major infrastructure transformation, and automation-led improvement.

How you will add value?

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage global network and Voice communications across the enterprise.
• Resolve complex network incidents and recurring problems
• Secure wide area, local area, cloud, and voice networks
• Automate resilient, efficient network services
• Maintain standards, controls, and regulatory compliance

Strategic Responsibilities:

• Deliver network projects and infrastructure improvements
• Enhance methods, tools, documentation, and operational procedure

Team & Collaboration:

• Partner with infrastructure and application teams
• Coach engineers and strengthen operational capability
• Support on-call operations and remote markets when required

What will help you be successful in this role?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• At least 10 years of proven experience operating global networks in 24/7 environments, preferably in financial services
• Practical background in designing and supporting wide and local area networks
• Hands-on exposure to public, private, or hybrid cloud networking
• Familiarity with security platforms from Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, or similar providers
• Capability in managing diverse systems through configuration and lifecycle management platforms

Technical Skills:

• Expert level knowledge of SD-WAN routing including hands on experience with Catalyst SD-WAN or similar solutions
• Strong knowledge of traditional network routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
• Sound understanding of Linux, Windows, and voice technologies
• Coding proficiency for network automation, failover, deployment, and management solutions
• Practical application of artificial intelligence to testing alerting, reviews, and documentation

Soft Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and practical decision-making skills
• A collaborative, self-directed approach in fast-paced environments
• Commitment to continuous improvement and customer experience

Work Schedule & Location:

This role supports 24x7 operations through an on-call rotation and may require work outside standard business hours. Traveling may be required for remote-market support.
