Senior Network Engineer

Role Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises, data center, and cloud environments. The role focuses on ensuring network availability, security, scalability, performance, and operational excellence while supporting business-critical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data center networks.

• Manage routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).

• Administer firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, and security controls.

• Support internet connectivity, MPLS, leased lines, telecom services, and vendor management.

• Manage DNS, DHCP, NTP, IPAM, and related network services.

• Deploy and troubleshoot wireless infrastructure and load-balancing solutions.

• Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.

• Maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams on security and transformation initiatives.

• Support cloud networking and hybrid connectivity, particularly AWS environments.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

Experience

• 5-8 years of enterprise network engineering and support experience.

• Experience in medium to large enterprise environments, data centers, and branch networks.

• Strong background in network security, firewalls, VPNs, telecom circuits, and WAN technologies.

• Exposure to AWS networking and hybrid cloud connectivity is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, VRFs, MPLS, SD-WAN, QoS, Network Segmentation.

• Routing & Switching: Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, HPE, Huawei, Meraki.

• Security: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Firepower.

• Load Balancers: F5 BIG-IP, Citrix ADC (NetScaler).

• Wireless networking, controllers, access points, and enterprise Wi-Fi security.

• AWS Networking: VPC, Route Tables, Security Groups, VPN, Transit Gateway, Route 53.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, AWS Networking, ITIL.
