Senior Network Engineer / Network Team Lead
Salary: ₱275,000 – ₱300,000 per month
About the role
A senior technical leadership position for a Network Engineer with 15+ years of hands-on experience in the telecommunications/ISP space. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of network engineers across design, implementation, and incident response, while architecting and maintaining enterprise/carrier-grade network infrastructure. You will drive vendor evaluation and multi-platform strategy, and represent the network team to stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
Key responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of network engineers across design, implementation, and incident response
Architect and maintain enterprise/carrier-grade network infrastructure (routing, switching, WAN/LAN, security)
Drive vendor evaluation and multi-platform strategy (Cisco-primary, with Huawei/Juniper environments in play)
Represent the network team to stakeholders, vendors, and leadership
About you
15+ years of hands-on, progressive network engineering experience
CCNP or CCIE certification (active or recently lapsed)
Proven team lead / supervisory experience with people management
Extensive experience with networking routing protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLAN, VPN, QoS, CG-NAT, PPPoe, MPLS, SDH, xDSL)
Strong knowledge of network security principles and technologies (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
Ability and willingness to acquire new certifications as required
Preferred experience with cloud networking (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred experience in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
Preferred experience with SD-WAN implementation and management
Fluent in English
