Senior Network Engineer

Salary: ₱90,000 – ₱110,000 per month

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in the field of computer networking.

• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of network topologies, architectures, and protocols, including TCP/IP and OSI model layers. Demonstrates a deep understanding of OSPF and BGP protocols, as well as STP, VLANs, trunking, and inter-VLAN routing. Has extensive experience in configuring Cisco switches and Versa SDWAN devices.

• Scripting, Automation, and Monitoring: Proficient in using Python scripting and Ansible for network automation. Well-versed in network monitoring systems, preferably Datadog. Being a Datadog Certified Champion is highly advantageous.

• Capable of assessing network performance, identifying areas for improvement, and making strategic recommendations to the Team Lead based on data analytics.

• Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Takes ownership and accountability for assigned workloads and collaborates effectively with others to achieve team, divisional, and departmental goals. Tools/Software

• Relevant professional certifications in networking (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent) are an advantage.

• Hybrid, requiring employees to report onsite three times a week. If the user unit requires contractors to report to HQ, compliance is mandatory.

• Work Schedule is from 8:00AM – 5:00PM PH Time.
