This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, support, and strategic evolution of the enterprise voice and collaboration environment, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), Cisco Unity Connection, SIP-based communications platforms, and related third-party technologies. This position requires a highly collaborative professional who can effectively partner with Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application Development, Operations Technology (OT), and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure communication services across the enterprise. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor,providingtechnical leadership, architectural guidance, and strategic recommendations that align communication platforms with businessobjectivesand enterprise standards. As a senior member of the engineering team, this individual willparticipatein architectural reviews, technology evaluations, modernization initiatives, and long-term roadmap planning. Responsibilities include developing technical designs, performing assessments, driving remediation and standardization efforts,creatingandmaintainingtechnical documentation, and leading cross-functional discussions to visualize and communicate complex concepts. The candidate must be capable of making sound technical decisions, influencing outcomes across multiple teams, and mentoring engineers through knowledge sharing and leadership. The successful candidate willoperatewith minimal supervision,demonstrateinitiative and ownership,maintaina customer-focused mindset, andpossessexceptional written and verbal communication skills. This role requires the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution while ensuringthe stability, resilience, and continuous improvement of the enterprise collaboration environment. **KeyResponsibilities** - Deploy complex(VoIP)network configurations foron-premiseor cloud-based networks andassistsin the development of playbooks for network systems( _Cloud Computing_). - Assistsin the integration of new systems and tools. Develops andmaintainsscripts tofacilitatenetwork administrative tasks and automate repetitive processes. - Architect and engineer enterprise VoIP and Unified Communicationsolutions(e.g.Cisco Unified Communication Manager, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), Voice Gateway. Designcomplexdial plans, partitions, Calling Search Spaces (CSS), translationpatternsand route patterns. - Serve as a primary escalation point for complex voice network issues. Analyze packet captures and SIP signaling to resolve jitter, latency, and call routing failures. Analyze performance on the network for non-VoIP related traffic asrequired.( _Troubleshooting, Results Driven,Network Management System_) - Monitors performanceidentifiesareas for improvement for the(VoIP)network and implements performance tuning. - Identifiestrends in issues anddeterminesthe root cause to reduce future issues. - Adheres to network policies, standards, and standard operating procedures for how-to documents. - Undertakes the regular analysis and interpretation of traffic andutilizationof services on(VoIP)network connections. - Engage in discussions andparticipatein development of Private SaaS,EdgeComputingand other advanced cloudcapabilities ( _Cloud Computing,Network Installation and Configuration, Network Transformation_). - Adheres to network policies, standards, and standard operating procedures for how-to documents. - Analyzes alternative hardware,platforms,and technologies for the network infrastructure( _Network Transformation, Network Testing, Network Traffic Analysis_). **Education and Experience** - Bachelor's degree in Information Technologypreferred, related field or equivalent experience. - Five (5)or moreyears of relevant experiencerequired. - Cisco CertifiedVoiceProfessional (CCVP)or equivalentcertificationspreferred. - Experience inleadingsite surveys, capacity planning, end user requirement analysis, and the physical/logical deployment of VoIP hardware and software preferred. - Experience in migrating legacy TDM/PBX systems to modern VoIP architecture preferred. - Experiencewithplanningand execution ofmajor system upgrades, patches, firmware updates, and database replication health checks across the publisher and subscriber nodes preferred. - Experience with enterprisescale data centers, network topologiesand architecturespreferred. - Experience withRTP and Media Concepts,SDPand Codecs(G.711, G.729, Opus, DTMF), Secure Signaling (TLS/mTLS, SRTP) preferred. - Deep understanding of Routing Concepts, Switching Concepts, Quality of Service, Traffic Engineering, Filtering and Tuning ( _Network Traffic Analysis, Network Testing, Network Protocols_) is highly preferred. - Exposureto automation tools (e.g.Ansible, Python Scripting)preferred. - Experience with packet capture tools (Wireshark) and call analysis platforms preferred. **Skills** - **Adaptability**-Maintainingeffectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment, such as people, processes, structure, or culture; adjusting effectively to change by exploring the benefits, tryingnew approaches, and collaborating with others to make the change successful. - **AI Fundamentals**- Understanding core AI concepts and methods, applying AI to job-relevant use cases, and contributing to organizational AI reimagination. - **Authentic Communicator**- Expresses ideas and information, both verbally and in writing, clearly and credibly. ITSM aligns IT service delivery with business needs and helps ensure services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in a way that adds value to the organization. - **Network Administration**- Organizing, installing, and supporting the organization’s computer systems, including local area networks, wide area networks, network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems. - **Network Automation**- Automating the configuration and management of network resources in LAN and WAN environments to ensure network consistency and scalability. - **Network Design**- Providing network design, bandwidth allocation, and IP address allocation, as well as supervising the installation, configuration, and maintenance of major network technologies. - **Network Engineering**- The process of orchestrating network traffic and data flow across the enterprise ecosystem. - **Network Installations**- Configuring network hardware and software components according to organizational guidelines and technical requirements. This includes implementing and configuring servers, network devices, and network management tools, as well as managing user network access to ensure stable and reliable network operations. - **Network Management System**- The use of network monitoring todeterminein real time whether a network isoperatingoptimally and to improve the percentage of time during which the network performs its intended function. - **Network Security Management**- The process of providing complete visibility into the network and generating data for assets, including asset groupings and classifications, firewalls, applications, ports, protocols, VPNs, NAT, security policies, and vendor devices. - **Network Standards**- Sets andestablishesrules thatdeterminehow data is transmitted between different devices on the same network. - **Requirements Management**- The process of documenting, analyzing, tracing, prioritizing, and agreeing on requirements, then controlling changes while communicating with relevant stakeholders. - **Results Driven**- Drives operational and process excellence and innovative behavior by empowering others, collaborating, takingappropriate risks, makingtimelydecisions, and holding people accountable for results. - **Strategic Outlook**- Examines issues, generates ideas, creates future scenarios, and develops plans with a long-term perspective.
