Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: Base $130-140K + superannuation + salary sacrifice

We are assisting one of our valued clients with their requirement for Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to support a significant Network Remediation Program.

• 2 positions available – Brisbane & Melbourne
• 12-month fixed-term contract (possible extension)
• Salary sacrificing benefits available

You will provide expert technical services across enterprise networking, infrastructure and security, working with geographically dispersed teams to deliver secure, highly available and resilient technology services.

Number of Positions: 2

• 1 x Brisbane
• 1 x Melbourne

Travel:

• Monday to Friday – some travel involved between sites
• Interstate and inter-site travel required during Phase 1, with expenses covered

Candidates who have led complex migration programs and are confident engaging with General Managers, senior leaders and a broad range of stakeholders would be an excellent fit for this role. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and people skills will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network and infrastructure services
• Provide third-level technical support and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues
• Design, plan and implement Juniper networks, including routing, switching and LAN/WAN connectivity
• Support Juniper Access, Distribution, Core and Wireless environments
• Manage and troubleshoot web proxy and Microsoft PKI / Certificate Services
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, security, and capacity
• Contribute to infrastructure projects, roadmaps, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to analyse requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Develop and maintain technical and infrastructure documentation

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience supporting enterprise ICT infrastructure across multiple data centres
• Extensive hands-on experience across networking, infrastructure, and security
• Strong Juniper networking experience, including routing, switching and LAN/WAN
• Experience with Juniper Wireless, web proxy, and Microsoft PKI / Certificate Services
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting and fault finding
• Strong understanding of ICT security best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively across geographically distributed teams
