Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

Design, implement, and manage network and infrastructure solutions while maintaining network equipment, servers, storage, virtualization, and Linux systems. Monitor services, resolve problems, automate administrative tasks, improve infrastructure, and collaborate with technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of geo-distributed infrastructure
- Maintain and configure network equipment, bare metal servers, and NAS
- Maintain and configure VMware virtualization systems
- Administer Linux servers
- Monitor service status and resolve emerging problems
- Automate administrative tasks
- Develop and improve infrastructure
- Interact with developers, database administrators, DevOps engineers, and architects
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- Network equipment configuration and operation, including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Strong knowledge of VLAN, STP, static routing, PBR, OSPF, BGP, ACL, IPsec, OpenVPN, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with VMware, vCenter, vSAN, Distributed Switch, and HA
- Working knowledge of HP and Dell servers and storage systems
- Experience administering Debian and Ubuntu Linux
- Experience administering monitoring systems, logging, and metrics collection
- Intermediate or higher spoken and technical English
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of information security principles and SOC2/PCI DSS infrastructure
