Senior Network & Security Engineer

The Senior Network & Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and securing the organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of enterprise networks while protecting critical systems from cyber threats. The engineer provides technical leadership, supports complex network and security projects, and works closely with IT teams to maintain a secure and resilient infrastructure.


Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure, troubleshoot and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 network switches.
• Manage and maintain firewall configurations, security policies and network security controls.
• Implement and support network security protocols, including IPSec and SSL/TLS.
• Perform log monitoring and analysis using EventLog Analyzer.
• Manage wireless infrastructure, including Meraki and Aruba solutions.
• Administer patch management using Endpoint Central.
• Maintain DNS records, including A, CNAME and MX records.
• Manage SSL certificates and ensure timely renewals.
• Provide operational support to ensure the stability, availability and security of the network environment.

Candidate Profile:
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field.
• Two to five years’ industry experience in network and security operations.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies.
• Hands-on experience in firewall configuration and management.
• A good understanding of network security protocols, including IPSec and SSL/TLS.
• Experience with EventLog Analyzer, Meraki, Aruba, Endpoint Central, DNS management and SSL certificate administration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
