We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to bring their technical leadership skills to the team in Perth.
What We're Looking For:
- Current driver's licence and the ability to travel remotely in the state to support regional sites.
- Ability to work effectively with technical SMEs
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
- Excellent analytical, technical, written, and verbal skills
Key Technical skills:
- Operational knowledge of Cisco routers and switches. Ability to configure and troubleshoot.
- Operational knowledge of Cisco wireless network systems. Wireless controller administration.
- Understanding of networking concepts: switching, routing, firewalling, vpns.
- Operational understanding of Checkpoint firewalls
- Operational understanding of load balancer technology such as F5
- Familiarity with firewalling, routing, vlans, vpn is essential.
Desirable:
- In depth understanding of Cisco networking. Especially wireless
- Knowledge of Cisco ISE and ACI
- understanding of Azure networking
- Experience with Cisco Community Connected Infrastructure
- 5+ years' experience supporting Palo Alto and other Firewall products.
- 5+ years' experience supporting Cisco SD-WAN/MPLS/VPLS - WAN infrastructure
- 5+ years' experience supporting Cisco Catalyst 9200/9300/9500 & 8200/8300/8500 routers
- Relevant industry aligned certifications
