A senior network architect designs, documents, and delivers a secure, high-performance network connectivity solution for a sector transfer initiative, owning the architecture end to end in a safety-critical environment. Core tech: Cisco SDA, large-scale routing/switching, segmentation, and network security. Full-time onsite in Greater Copenhagen through 31 December 2026.
Senior Network Solution Architect
The Senior Network Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and delivering a secure, stable, and high-performance network solution as part of the sector transfer initiative. The role requires deep technical expertise, full autonomy, and the ability to operate in a complex, safety-critical environment. The consultant must be 100% self-driven, able to manage stakeholders independently, and ensure end-to-end architectural ownership of the network connectivity solution.
Main Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of the network connection.
Develop high-level and low-level network designs, documentation, and solution descriptions.
Ensure compliance with infrastructure, security, and operational standards.
Collaborate closely with technical teams to align requirements, constraints, and timelines.
Conduct impact assessments, risk evaluations, and propose mitigation strategies.
Oversee configuration, integration, and validation of network components.
Ensure knowledge transfer, documentation, and handover to operational teams.
Act as the primary technical authority for all network-related decisions within the project.
Must-Have Qualifications
Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco SDA (Software Defined Access) — architecture, design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience working with affiliated stakeholders — understanding of their infrastructure, governance, and operational models.
Strong background in large-scale network architecture, including routing, switching, segmentation, and security.
Deep knowledge of enterprise network standards, compliance, and critical infrastructure requirements.
Ability to work fully independently and drive complex technical deliveries without supervision.
Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with network solutions in regulated or safety-critical environments.
Knowledge of cross-organisation connectivity, sector transfers, or infrastructure separation projects.
Familiarity with automation, orchestration, and network policy frameworks.
