Senior Network Specialist
Summary
Senior Network Specialist maintains and updates network infrastructure (Cisco, F5, ADVA) in datacentres, using GitLab and Ansible to ensure security and stability.
Summary: This role involves providing senior-level support for the Patch and End-of-Life (EoL) Management of network infrastructure, ensuring the security, stability, and availability of network components within a managed environment.
Main Responsibilities: The core responsibilities include technical planning and execution of network updates.
Technical planning and execution of network updates.
Preparation of required activities and creation of change documentation.
Presentation of planned activities in various Change Advisory Boards (CABs).
Implementation and post-review of updates.
Support for team members in complex cases and challenging updates.
Assistance with service requests within the network environment.
Key Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of network architectures and technologies.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco (including Nexus 5K/7K/9K , ACI), F5, and ADVA.
Experience working in Datacentres.
Experience with GitLab and Ansible.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with stakeholders.
Willingness to work outside regular business hours.
English.
Nice to Have:
Experience in a bank-regulated environment.
