We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Next.js Developer with strong hands-on experience in tRPC and Fastify to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable web applications using modern full-stack TypeScript technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Next.js applications (App Router & Pages Router)
- Build end-to-end type-safe APIs using tRPC
- Design and implement backend services using Fastify
- Write clean, scalable, and well-tested TypeScript code
- Integrate with databases, authentication systems, and third-party APIs
- Participate in code reviews and technical decision-making
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js
- Expert-level knowledge of tRPC (type-safe APIs)
- Experience with REST & real-time APIs
- Strong understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and edge functions
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with authentication (NextAuth, JWT, OAuth)
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of web performance and security best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with Prisma or Drizzle ORM
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Vercel)
- Monorepos (TurboRepo, Nx)
- WebSockets & real-time features
