Explore Group has partnered exclusively with a fast-scaling, product-led fintech to support them with the hire of experienced Node.js engineers. The business continues to see strong growth across the UK and Europe and builds a suite of fintech solutions used by enterprise customers to solve complex, real-world problems at scale.
Following continued commercial success and increased customer adoption, they are now expanding their engineering function and looking to onboard an experienced Senior Node.js Engineer
The Role:
You will join a high-performing engineering team working on backend-heavy, distributed systems. The role will involve building and scaling production-ready services, contributing to architectural decisions, and working extensively with asynchronous and event-driven systems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience working with Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Proven experience working with distributed systems
- Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB), and exposure to columnar databases (Redshift / ClickHouse beneficial)
- Track record of delivering production-ready, scalable solutions
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
