Senior Node.js Engineer with AI

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer with strong commercial experience in AI to build and develop production-ready, AI-powered features. The role combines strong backend engineering in Node.js with hands-on work on AI solutions, experimentation, evaluation and integration into a live product.

Requirements

・Strong commercial experience with Node.js and backend development

・At least 2 years of commercial experience working with AI/ML solutions

・Professional experience with Python

・Hands-on experience building and integrating AI-powered functionality into real-world products

・Experience taking AI experiments or prototypes into production

・Ability to research different technical approaches, test them and make decisions based on results

・Understanding of how to evaluate AI-based solutions, including quality, accuracy, latency and cost

・Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs and integrations

・Ability to independently own technically complex features from idea to production

Highly Valued

・Experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents or GenAI applications

・Experience working with major AI model providers and APIs

・Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms

・Experience with AI observability, evaluation frameworks or production monitoring

・Previous experience in travel technology, hospitality, marketplaces or booking platforms.
