Senior O9 Supply Planning Configuration Consultant
Summary
Senior o9 Supply Planning consultant in Pune who designs, configures, tests, and deploys end-to-end supply planning solutions (DRP, inventory replenishment, capacity and scenario planning) on the o9 platform, including planning models, workflows, business rules, UIs, and solver tuning, using SQL/Python with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced o9 Solutions Consultant specialising in Supply Planning to design, configure, test, and deploy end-to-end supply planning solutions. The role requires strong expertise in supply chain planning processes and hands-on o9 configuration, including planning models, workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and solver optimisation.
Responsibilities :
- Gather and analyse business requirements and conduct workshops with stakeholders to understand current-state and future-state supply planning processes.
- Design, configure, test, and deploy o9 Supply Planning solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Implement and support Supply Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), Inventory Replenishment Planning, capacity planning, and scenario-based planning.
- Configure planning policies, sourcing and allocation rules, replenishment strategies, data models, dimensions, hierarchies, measures, and attributes.
- Develop and maintain planning workspaces, dashboards, reports, KPIs, workflows, alerts, and exception management processes.
- Configure planning calculations, business rules, procedures, action buttons, and user interfaces.
- Perform solver performance tuning and optimisation to improve planning accuracy and processing efficiency.
- Use SQL and Python for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and configuration-related activities.
- Work with integrations, ETL processes, and data interfaces involving ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Refine user stories in collaboration with business and Client Success teams, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues and support solution validation, testing, and deployment activities.
- Lead and mentor o9 configuration consultants, review deliverables, and ensure quality and consistency across implementations.
Requirements :
- 8 - 10 years of overall experience in supply chain planning or related enterprise solutions, with strong hands-on experience in o9 Solutions.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in o9 Supply Planning configuration and implementation.
- Experience with at least one end-to-end o9 Supply Planning implementation, covering design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of demand and supply planning, manufacturing planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Hands-on experience with o9 configuration, workflow modelling, UI design, action buttons, procedures, solver performance tuning, and report design.
- Strong understanding of o9 project implementation methodology, IBPL, and Python plugins.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to SSIS, ETL processes, data interfaces, and integration with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience in refining user stories, resolving complex production issues, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring configuration consultants and managing delivery quality.
