Senior Objective-J Engineer (Objective-C/Cappuccino Framework)
Summary
Maintains and enhances a legacy enterprise application built with Objective-J and the Cappuccino Framework, adding new features and fixing issues in a large, established codebase.
Looking for an experienced Objective-J / Cappuccino Developer to deliver work for an end client’s large-scale enterprise application.
The application is a long-established, business-critical platform built using Objective-J and the Cappuccino Framework. There are no plans for a full rewrite—instead, the focus is on maintaining, supporting and enhancing the existing platform, delivering new features and improvements where required.
What you’ll need
Commercial experience with Objective-J and the Cappuccino Framework
Strong JavaScript development background
Experience working on large enterprise or legacy applications
Confidence working within an established codebase
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience with Objective-C, Cocoa, or other legacy enterprise technologies would also be highly beneficial.
If you’ve worked with Objective-J or the Cappuccino Framework commercially – whether recently or earlier in your career—I’d be extremely keen to speak with you. Given how niche this skillset is, I’m confident we can secure interviews as early as next week for the right profile.
Duration: initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension
