Senior Officer – Data Management Support (SQL)
Description
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting IT operations and managing system data related to stock, sales, and transactions. The role focuses on using SQL and Excel to extract, analyze, and validate data, prepare reports, and support stock take and month-end/year-end closing processes. The position also coordinates with Accounting, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure data accuracy and smooth business operations.
Work Location: Phraek Sa Mai, Samut Prakan (MR. D.I.Y. Distribution Center).
Key Responsibilities
Extract, manage, and validate stock, sales, and transaction data from company systems (ERP / POS / Inventory) using SQL.
Prepare and maintain stock take reports, analyze stock discrepancies, and support stock adjustment processes.
Generate monthly sales reports and analyze data accuracy, trends, and unusual transactions using SQL and Excel.
Support month-end and year-end closing by preparing and verifying stock and sales data for the Accounting team.
Investigate data or system-related issues and coordinate with IT, Accounting, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to resolve them.
Improve and automate recurring reports and data processes to enhance accuracy and work efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in IT Operations, System Support, Data Support, or a related field.
Good knowledge of SQL, including SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, and Subqueries.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in data management and reporting.
Understanding of Stock, Sales, Inventory, or Transaction data is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work with multiple teams and manage tasks within deadlines.
