Senior Officer, HR
Summary
Manages HR offboarding, contract renewals, and employee transfers for a Singapore-based operations team, ensuring legal compliance and smooth workflows.
- Responsible for raising of any attrition requests via Off-Boarding Portal and coordination of all offboarding checks and processes
- Responsible for the tracking & timely processing of contract related matters such as renewals and conversion to ensure that all employees are legally contracted etc
- Coordination of emplacement of eligible officers and timely submission to GHR/SGHR
- Assist and manage confirmation appraisal process for new hires
- Execute employee transfer process through raising Internal Staff Movement Portal
- Ensure all work-related application are completed timely and licenses are renewed up to date
- Provide support for Annual Financial Screening for the relevant employee group.
- Assist with the processing and approval of medical leave for the relevant employee group.
- Provide support for i-reporting and liaise with relevant authorities on Workplace Safety and Health matters.
- Coordinate and communicate updates on officers’ employment status to relevant internal stakeholders to ensure accurate compensation tagging and payroll alignment
- Maintain close liaison with Business Units to support and facilitate work processes.
- Preparation of monthly / ad-hoc reports for HR, Business Units and Management Team
- Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvements
- Attend to and resolve employees and/or business queries and requests by applying HR standard operating procedures while maintaining a confidential work environment
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on employee data
- Perform any other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in any field
- Preferably with relevant experience (HR/Admin)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Good knowledge of employment laws, regulations, market practices and general business environment
- Positive, resourceful and curious to learn
- Prior experience with using SAP would be an advantage
