Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Officer TMS Analyst to support the Bank's Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) operations. The role is responsible for monitoring and investigating transaction alerts, reviewing customer activities, managing AML/CFT cases, and ensuring timely regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will help strengthen the Bank’s financial crime controls by identifying suspicious activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and monitor Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) alerts to identify suspicious transactions and activities.
- Ensure timely closure of TMS alerts within defined turnaround times.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of customer transactions and account activities.
- Prepare and submit Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU).
- Maintain complete and accurate case management records with supporting documentation.
- Prepare alert status reports and management information for senior management review.
- Support AML regulatory reporting and compliance obligations.
- Conduct AML transaction monitoring awareness sessions and training for relevant staff.
Experience Required
- 2–3 years of experience in AML transaction monitoring, TMS alert management, financial crime compliance, or related functions.
- Experience in case management and suspicious transaction investigations is preferred.
Educational Background Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
