Senior Operation Manager / Squad Lead with German (m/f/d)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager / Squad Lead for operations responsible mainly for Change Management, Patch & Release Management, and Capacity Management. The successful candidate will lead a squad of approximately 13 team members while taking overall ownership for service steering, operational excellence, quality governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the respective service domain.
This role combines people leadership, customer engagement, strategic planning, and operational execution. As the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, the Squad Lead will ensure service quality, drive performance improvements, identify optimization opportunities, and contribute to the long-term development of the operational service landscape.
- Several years of experience in IT Operations, Managed Services, or Service Delivery.
- Proven leadership experience managing operational teams (approx. 10-15 employees).
- Strong knowledge of Change Management, Patch & Release Management, Capacity Management, and ITIL-based processes.
- Experience in customer-facing roles and stakeholder management.
- Proven track record in service improvement, operational excellence, and process optimization.
- Experience with KPI management, SLA governance, and service reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- German: C1 or higher (mandatory)
- English: B2 or higher

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1800€ /brutto.
