Senior Operations Manager

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve operational targets in safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and inventory.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Optimize the utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, inventory, and capital to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Drive a high-performance culture through employee engagement, coaching, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence, automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor key operational KPIs, using data and analytics to drive business performance and informed decision-making.
  • Lead capacity planning, new product introductions (NPI), capital investment projects, and manufacturing expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Environment, Safety & Health (ESH), and regulatory requirements while fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Own operational financial performance, including productivity, cost management, inventory, and P&L objectives.
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of manufacturing leadership experience with strong knowledge of world-class manufacturing practices.
  • Proven experience leading large manufacturing organizations and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership, planning, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing manufacturing operations in a high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) environment.
  • Demonstrated success driving Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and shopfloor performance.
  • Strong knowledge of automation, digitalization, and data analytics to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and matrix organizations.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People development.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience in valve manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or engineered products.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing operational budgets and P&L.
  • Experience leading capital investment, manufacturing expansion, or new product introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Proven success working within a global matrix organization.
