Senior Oracle DBA Technician

About the role

At Grupo NS we are looking to bring on a Senior DBA Technician with experience in Oracle database administration and team management, to participate in critical and high-availability environments. We offer participation in a top-level project, hybrid modality, (1-2 days on-site at the client, north zone of Madrid).

What you'll do

• Advanced administration and management of Oracle databases.
• Management of high-availability environments: Oracle RAC, Data Guard and ASM.
• Administration of Oracle Exadata.
• High-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex incidents.
• Performance optimization of databases, monitoring and tuning.
• Upgrades, patching and migrations between different Oracle versions.
• Database parameterization and configuration.
• Management and coordination of technical teams.

What we're looking for

• Solid experience as a Senior Oracle DBA.
• Experience in team management.
• Extensive knowledge of RAC, Data Guard, ASM and Exadata.
• Experience in database optimization and tuning.
• Advanced knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate.

Nice to have

• Official manufacturer certifications will be valued.
• Knowledge in other managers will be valued: PostgreSQL, SQL Server and DB2.
