Senior OT Specialist / OT Architect

Location: Onsite (5 Days/Week)

Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced OT Specialist/Architect with strong expertise in PLC, SCADA, DCS, Historian, and PI Systems to assess, modernize, and optimize Operational Technology environments across multiple Oil & Gas facilities. The role focuses on OT assessments, digital transformation readiness, technology strategy, architecture recommendations, and roadmap development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess existing OT environments, including DCS, SCADA, PLC, Historian, and downstream OT systems.
  
• Conduct OT readiness assessments and identify modernization opportunities.
  
• Develop OT technology strategies, target architectures, and transformation roadmaps.
  
• Perform environmental scans, evaluate solutions, and develop business cases.
  
• Analyze operational processes, requirements, and standards across multiple facilities.
  
• Design, implement, and optimize OT systems and infrastructure.
  
• Configure OT networking components including switches, routers, firewalls, and virtualized servers.
  
• Create documentation, process flows, system specifications, and recommendation presentations.
  
• Maintain troubleshooting, networking, and operational procedures documentation.
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, Historian, and PI Systems.
  
• Experience conducting OT assessments and modernization initiatives within Oil & Gas environments.
  
• Expertise with platforms such as AVEVA, Ignition, CygNet, Rockwell, and Emerson.
  
• Strong knowledge of OT architecture, networking, system integration, and digital transformation.
  
• Experience developing technology roadmaps, target-state architectures, and business cases.
  
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
