Senior Paid Social Manager

This is a senior opportunity within a global Paid Media team, focused on delivering measurable growth for a portfolio of high-profile clients. You will lead the day-to-day management of paid social campaigns while shaping strategy, optimization, testing, and reporting. The role combines hands-on platform expertise with client leadership, team development, and process improvement. You will collaborate closely with strategy, media planning, and broader digital teams to connect social activation with wider marketing objectives. As a senior contributor, you will also coach team members, resolve account challenges, and share emerging industry opportunities. This role is ideal for a data-driven, client-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-moving digital environment.
Accountabilities
- Manage the daily operations of a portfolio of paid social accounts, including campaign setup, pacing, quality assurance, optimization, reporting, and insights.
- Develop and execute paid social strategies while collaborating with Strategy and Media Planning teams on media plans, roadmaps, and broader activation initiatives.
- Build strong client relationships by providing actionable insights, optimization recommendations, testing opportunities, and innovative solutions.
- Monitor campaign performance and use data, market insights, and platform trends to guide decisions and improve business outcomes.
- Lead weekly team status meetings, coordinate workloads, delegate tasks, and manage deadlines across team members.
- Identify opportunities to retain and grow client revenue while contributing to team and business objectives.
- Maintain rigorous account quality standards and identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate campaign management processes.
- Stay current with paid social platform developments, industry trends, emerging opportunities, and best practices, sharing relevant knowledge with the wider team.
- Integrate paid social activity with broader media and planning strategies to create more cohesive digital campaigns.
- Coach and support team members, helping develop their tactical, analytical, account management, and insight-writing capabilities.
- Conduct regular one-to-ones and provide constructive feedback to direct reports to support their professional development.
- Act as an escalation point for team and account issues, helping resolve challenges efficiently and maintaining strong client outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of campaign management processes and best practices.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Knowledge of Campaign Manager 360 is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Sheets, Slides, and Docs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining structured, organized working practices.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with the ability to translate campaign data and market insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining client relationships, with a strong focus on understanding client needs and delivering measurable value.
- Experience identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve processes, and introduce automation where appropriate.
- Strong understanding of paid social strategy, campaign optimization, testing, QA, and performance measurement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Leadership or coaching experience, including the ability to provide feedback, delegate responsibilities, and support the development of other team members.
- Client-centric mindset with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and solving business challenges.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a collaborative, international team.
- Strong interest in emerging paid media technologies, trends, and best practices.
- A traditional degree is not required; demonstrated skills, expertise, and relevant behavioral attributes are valued.
