Description

Now Brewing - senior paralegal senior - Litigation! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

As a Starbucks paralegal senior - Litigation, you will be an integral member of the Litigation team supporting a broad portfolio of complex, high-impact matters. The portfolio may include general and product liability matters, slip-and-fall and burn claims, customer-facing discrimination and accessibility matters, consumer class actions, patent and other intellectual property litigation, complex commercial and supplier disputes, securities and shareholder litigation, and other significant matters.

You will partner with Starbucks attorneys, outside counsel, business and technology teams, and discovery vendors to provide end-to-end litigation and eDiscovery support from matter intake through resolution. The successful candidate will bring substantial litigation and eDiscovery experience, sound judgment, strong project-management skills, and the ability to independently move matters forward.

As a senior paralegal senior, you will\:

  • Manage matters end to end\: Coordinate intake, case setup, calendars and deadlines, case files, trackers, budgets, status reporting, and matter closeout across a high-volume portfolio.

  • Support complex litigation\: Assist through fact development, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, trial preparation, settlement, appeals, and other phases of litigation; organize evidence, chronologies, witness materials, and case information.

  • Lead legal holds and eDiscovery\: Manage legal holds, custodian and data-source identification, interviews, preservation, collection, processing, review, quality control, and production of electronically stored information in coordination with attorneys, technology and security teams, outside counsel, and discovery vendors.

  • Investigate and develop facts\: Gather and analyze records, conduct factual and legal research, assist with witness interviews, and prepare clear summaries and reports for attorneys and business partners.
