Senior Partner Development Manager
Job Summary
The Sr. Partner Development Manager owns the enterprise partner growth strategy for AI assigned scope, establishing multi-year business objectives, investment priorities, and go-to-market direction across CDW. This role sets the joint business plan(s), establishes partner investment strategy and governance, and equips CDW sellers with the messaging, sales plays, and enablement programs required to position and sell joint solutions at scale. As an individual contributor, the Sr. Partner Development Manager influences executive stakeholders across PPM, Sales, Presales, Services, Finance, and Marketing, operates peer-to-peer with director- and VP-level leadership at assigned partner(s), and is accountable for enterprise-level partner growth outcomes.
What You Will Do
AI Partner Strategy
- Own enterprise business planning and multi-year growth strategies for assigned partner(s), covering growth, enablement, investment, and pipeline targets.
- Translate AI partner roadmap(s) into CDW segment plays and co-sell programs, prioritizing use cases with the clearest path to production.
- Provide thought leadership on market, competitive, and technology trends, including partner program changes and whitespace opportunities, shaping CDW’s partner ecosystem strategy and influencing future growth investments.
Field Enablement and Demand
- Own AI field enablement for assigned partner(s): sales plays, deal qualification guidance, and seller-facing technical readiness.
- Build CDW’s AI brand across sales territories, driving seller awareness, engagement, and adoption of partner program(s).
- Drive partner co-sell with field teams: monthly account mapping, opportunity registration, and joint deal pursuit.
- Develop joint campaigns with Marketing and CDW’s Service & Solutions organization to drive targeted, profitable growth.
Practice and Offering Alignment
- Bring AI partner technology, roadmap(s), and funding into CDW offering and practice planning with Services and Presales to turn partner capabilities into repeatable CDW offerings.
- Secure partner technical enablement, resources, and funding to build CDW’s AI delivery and architecture capability.
Business Management
- Establish investment strategy and governance for partner-funded programs (MDF, operational funding, co-sell funding), determining allocation priorities and influencing multi-million-dollar investment decisions to maximize business impact.
- Report AI pipeline, enablement reach, and partner investment utilization across assigned partner(s) or portfolio.
- Serve as the executive-facing relationship leader for assigned partner(s), influencing joint business planning, escalation management, executive alignment, and future growth initiatives.
Enterprise Leadership and Influence
- Influence executive leadership decisions regarding partner investments, growth priorities, and go-to-market strategy.
- Lead executive business reviews with leadership at assigned partner(s) and CDW senior executives.
- Drive enterprise-wide initiatives that influence sales motions, service strategy, and partner ecosystem expansion.
- Serve as the recognized subject matter expert and strategic advisor for partner growth strategy and alliance development, mentoring Partner Specialists, Partner Development Managers, and field stakeholders.

What We Expect of You
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of sales/marketing/project management experience, OR 14 years' experience in sales/marketing/project management, OR 4 years CDW PPM experience and 10 years' experience in sales/marketing/project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence and engage executive leadership, including director- and VP-level stakeholders, effectively and strategically.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional virtual teams and mentor peers and field stakeholders without direct authority.
- History of building and maintaining strategic partner relationships, especially with major technology brands and alliance partners.
- Ability to multitask and drive projects from inception to completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM (Salesforce), and relevant business applications.
- Expert financial and business acumen.
- Exceptional strategic agility and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proven track record of driving results.
- Up to 20% travel may be required based on assigned scope.
Pay range: $158,000 - $220,000 depending on experience and skill set
Annual bonus target of 15% subject to terms and conditions of plan
