Senior Payments Engineer
We’re looking for someone who can help architect the platform, make key technical decisions, and ultimately own a significant portion of the payments infrastructure.
- Experience with Adyen and/or Stripe APIs and integrations
- Strong backend engineering experience (API architecture, distributed systems, scalability, reliability)
- Experience with payment orchestration, routing, gateway abstraction, or multi-processor environments
- Experience with card processing, authorization flows, settlements, tokenization, vaulting, recurring billing, and payment lifecycle management
- Knowledge of PCI compliance, fraud prevention, risk controls, and payment security best practices
- Experience building payment infrastructure rather than simply consuming payment APIs
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing
