Senior / Payroll Executive (Changi)
Job Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Administer overtime, shift allowances, and other payroll-related payments.
- Prepare final salary calculations and settlements for resigned employees.
- Submit statutory contributions and payroll-related filings, including CPF, IR8A, and IR21.
- Process government reimbursement claims, including maternity, paternity, childcare leave, and NS claims.
- Prepare payroll journals and generate General Ledger (GL) reports for month-end financial closing.
- Reconcile payroll records and investigate payroll variances or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, employment laws, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee payroll data.
- Liaise with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Support payroll audits by preparing required documentation and reports.
- Manage payroll for a diverse workforce, including shift-based and blue-collar employees.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and system efficiency.
- Assist in payroll system testing, enhancements, and implementation projects when required.
Job Requirements
- Diplomaor Degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably handling high-volume payroll.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations, CPF, IRAS reporting, and Employment Act requirements.
- Experience with shift payroll, overtime calculation, and payroll reconciliation.
- Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight payroll deadlines.
