Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage Argentina payroll operations with a strong focus on labor, social security, and tax compliance. You will lead monthly and final payroll calculations, oversee Digital Payroll Book reporting, and serve as a key point of contact for payroll support.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Argentina employees with accuracy and within deadlines
• Prepare final settlement calculations and complete termination workflows according to legislation
• Administer and review fourth-category Income Tax calculations
• Report and monitor social security contributions through the Digital Payroll Book
• Manage payroll adjustments for vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and absences
• Complete payroll checks, verifications, and reconciliations to ensure correctness
• Assist employees by clarifying payroll topics and resolving payroll questions
• Ensure full adherence to labor, social security, and tax regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience handling payroll in Argentina
• Solid background and hands-on knowledge of monthly payroll runs and final payroll calculations
• Practical experience with Income Tax (4th category) calculations
• Working knowledge of social security contributions and hands-on use of the Digital Payroll Book
• Experience managing vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and termination processes
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as Tango, Visma, or similar tools
• Advanced Excel skills for payroll calculations, reconciliations, and reporting
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher, written and spoken
