Senior Payroll Specialist

We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to run Argentina payroll end to end while ensuring compliance with labor, social security, and tax rules. You will own accurate, on-time payroll cycles, manage terminations and fourth-category Income Tax, and support employees with payroll inquiries throughout the month. Apply now to join the team!

Responsibilities

• Execute full monthly payroll cycles for Argentina employees with high accuracy and on-time delivery
• Calculate final settlements and administer termination workflows in line with current legislation
• Supervise fourth-category Income Tax computations and related checks
• Track and report social security contributions using the Digital Payroll Book
• Coordinate payroll updates for vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and absences
• Perform validations and reconciliations to confirm payroll figures are correct
• Support employees by answering questions and resolving payroll-related issues
• Maintain ongoing compliance with labor, social security, and tax regulations

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience managing payroll in Argentina
• Strong background and practical knowledge in monthly and final payroll computations
• Experience managing Income Tax (4th category) calculations
• Knowledge of social security contributions and hands-on experience with the Digital Payroll Book
• Experience handling vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and termination workflows
• Experience using payroll systems such as Tango, Visma, or similar tools
• Advanced Excel skills for performing payroll calculations, reconciliations, and reporting
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency at a B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
