Description

About the role

We are looking to hire a Senior Labor Technician (20h/week/mornings) to take on the technical management of the labor area of our Barcelona office. Our office also serves a multicultural clientele, with the presence of professionals and companies linked to the Pakistani, Indian, and Nepalese communities. Therefore, we will especially value experience in multicultural environments and a genuine willingness to work with this clientele.

We are looking for a person with consolidated experience in business consultancy, autonomy, and professional judgment, who wants to develop their work in a close-knit office, with a stable client portfolio, organized processes, and administrative support. You will work with a stable portfolio of approximately 70–90 companies and 120–150 monthly payrolls, with activities in hospitality, construction, and small retail. Most payrolls are recurring and are generated through automated processes. Additionally, you will have administrative support for certain procedures, communications with clients, and operational tasks.

The position offers the opportunity to assume relevant technical responsibilities, maintaining a 20-hour weekly schedule, Monday to Friday in the mornings.

What you'll do

• Integral management of the payroll process, social security, and labor obligations for the assigned portfolio.

• Supervision and management of registrations, terminations, data variations, contracts, and communications to Social Security and SEPE.

• Application and interpretation of collective agreements, professional categories, salary tables, and updating of conditions.

• Review, configuration, and updating of collective agreements and salary concepts in SW Cegid.

• Management of labor incidents: sick leave, settlements, liquidations, contributions, bonuses, and workplace accidents.

• Management of labor particularities in the construction sector, including its pension plans.

• Resolution of routine labor inquiries and coordination with the labor lawyer on matters of greater complexity.

• Review and improvement of procedures to guarantee rigorous and efficient labor management.

What we're looking for

• Consolidated experience of at least 3 years in labor management, preferably in consultancies or professional firms.

• Autonomy in the preparation and review of payroll, contributions, hiring, and management of labor incidents.

• Proficiency in Sistema RED, SILTRA, Contrat@, and standard labor management tools.

• Solid knowledge in the application and interpretation of collective agreements.

• Experience with Cegid Díez, especially in the configuration of agreements and payroll, is highly valued. If not, proven experience with A3, Sage, or similar.

• Experience with the construction agreement, sectoral pension plans, and procedures via Delt@ is valuable.

• Organized, rigorous, and resourceful person with the capacity to manage their responsibilities with autonomy.

• Catalan, English, Urdu, or Punjabi are highly valued (not an exclusion requirement)

• Permanent contract.

• Part-time employment of 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 h.

• Salary of €1,375 to €1,541.67 gross per month (12 payments), depending on experience and suitability for the position for that schedule.

• Joining a consolidated office, with a stable portfolio and support from other professionals.

• Autonomy and technical responsibility, without the need to personally assume all administrative management.

• Initial training and progressive handover of functions.

• Possibility of considering teleworking once the integration is consolidated, depending on the organization and needs of the office.

• Workplace in Barcelona, Rocafort area (Consell de Cent).

• Joining as soon as possible, depending on availability. During the onboarding process, you will have a progressive handover of functions and support from the team, which will facilitate knowledge of the portfolio and its particularities.
