Senior PEB Design Engineer (Civil)

We are seeking a Senior PEB Design Engineer (Civil) to join our dynamic team in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and steel structures. This position requires a strong foundation in structural engineering principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in project conceptualization, feasibility studies, and site condition assessments. - Coordinate with clients and architects to finalize preliminary drawings and design requirements. - Perform structural analysis and design of various types of PEB and steel structures. - Prepare and design steel connections, structural calculations, and Bills of Materials (BOM). - Conduct basic structural calculations, Finite Element Method (FEM) modeling, and structural analysis. - Review preliminary analysis results and collaborate with senior engineers to determine appropriate design strategies. - Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for tendering, bidding, and estimation purposes. - Assist in tender preparation and documentation, including Minutes of Meeting (MOM). - Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and project specifications. Required Skills: - Proficiency in MBS (Metal Building Software) and STAAD.Pro. - Strong understanding of structural steel design, connection design, load calculations, and FEM analysis. - Knowledge of PEB design, BOQ preparation, BOM, and technical tender documentation. - Familiarity with Indian Standards (IS), American Codes (AISC/ASCE), and European Codes (Eurocodes). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills. - Ability to effectively coordinate with clients, architects, project teams, and senior engineers. Educational Qualification: - B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory; M.Tech in Structural Engineering is preferred.
