As a Senior People Operations Associate at PPRO, you will play a key role delivering accurate, efficient and employee-focused People Operations across our Americas region.
You will have day to day responsibility for supporting our employees and managers across Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and the USA, with a particular focus on payroll, benefits, employee lifecycle processes and HR administration. You will work closely with our local payroll and benefits partners, as well as colleagues across our global People team, to ensure our processes run smoothly and our employees receive a high quality People experience. This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, taking ownership and finding ways to make processes better.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage day-to-day People Operations across Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and the USA, ensuring employee data, documentation and processes are accurate, up to date and delivered within required deadlines.
- Prepare and coordinate monthly payroll inputs, including salary changes, bonuses, benefits, absences and other employee changes, working closely with external payroll and internal Accounting and Treasury teams.
- Own regular payroll and people related reporting for Finance, ensuring data is accurate, timely and aligned with payroll and HR data to support financial planning, reporting and reconciliation.
- Manage employee benefits administration and respond to employee and manager queries relating to payroll, benefits, policies, contracts, personal data and other People Operations matters.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal transfers, changes to employment and offboarding, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience.
- Prepare employment contracts, letters and other People documentation, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Identify opportunities to improve, simplify and automate People Operations processes, using AI and other technology where appropriate to reduce manual work, improve accuracy and build more scalable ways of working as PPRO grows, including contributing to regional and global People projects.
- Maintain appropriate processes, controls and documentation to support data integrity, compliance and operational efficiency, including supporting internal and external audits and responding to audit requests.
- Collaborate with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal and other teams on employee and People-related matters, contributing to global initiatives and sharing best practice across the wider People team.
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years experience in People Operations and Payroll, ideally in a fast paced, growing environment.
- Hands-on experience managing Brazil payroll, including preparing payroll inputs, reviewing calculations and working with payroll providers.
- Experience managing or supporting payroll across other Americas markets, particularly Mexico, Argentina or the USA, is a plus.
- Experience with benefits administration and supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes and offboarding.
- Strong English communication skills and confidence working with colleagues and stakeholders across different countries and levels of seniority.
- Strong attention to detail, with a methodical approach to data, problem-solving and deadlines.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships, work independently and look for new ways to improve how we work.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and working under pressure, while maintaining a positive and pragmatic approach.
