Our Growth Marketing team within the Consumer & Business group scales Coinbase's customer base and revenue through data-driven, full-funnel acquisition strategies across paid channels globally. As Performance Marketing Manager, Global, you'll own our performance marketing program, managing hundreds of millions in ad spend across paid social and mobile channels to drive new user acquisition at or above ROI targets.
What you'll do:
- Own end-to-end global strategy and execution across paid social (Meta, TikTok, Snap, Reddit) and mobile user acquisition (mobile display) to hit aggressive new user acquisition and efficiency targets.
- Drive a rigorous testing and learning agenda across creatives, audiences, bidding strategies, and app store/landing experiences; translate results into scaled playbooks for global markets.
- Partner with Data Science and Analytics to design experiments, incrementality tests, and mobile measurement frameworks (MMM, SKAN, MMP-based) that connect paid social and mobile UA performance to downstream business outcomes.
- Lead platform relationships with ad platforms and mobile measurement partners, aligning on betas, measurement approaches, and joint growth plans to unlock new capabilities.
- Build and maintain performance dashboards and reporting for paid social and mobile UA spend, with clear visibility by geo, product, and channel; proactively surface insights, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Legal, Engineering, Creative, Data Science, and regional teams.
Required skills and experience:
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with deep expertise in paid social (Meta, TikTok) and mobile user acquisition in an in-house or agency environment
- Proven track record owning large-scale paid social and mobile UA budgets and delivering measurable improvements in user acquisition efficiency across multiple channels and markets.
- Strong technical aptitude and experience leveraging LLMs, no-code/low-code platforms, and automation tools (e.g. Zapier, n8n, Make, Retool) to prototype custom agents and AI-driven workflows that accelerate growth experimentation, optimize operational efficiency, and scale hyper-targeted paid social and mobile campaigns
- Analytical and experimentation mindset; comfortable with spreadsheets and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Hex, Tableau, Superset) to build and launch tests, interpret results, and make data-grounded decisions.
- Deep experience with mobile measurement and privacy-aware execution, including SKAN, mobile measurement partners (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch), event strategy, and incrementality testing across app and web
- B2C experience required; fintech, crypto, or high-consideration consumer financial products strongly preferred.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, able to synthesize complex performance narratives and influence senior stakeholders with clear recommendations.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple geographies, campaigns, tests, and priorities in parallel while maintaining execution quality
- Utilize generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
