Senior Performance Test Engineer - Contract

The Senior Performance Test Engineer will design and execute performance, load, and stress testing strategies for enterprise applications. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing strategies.
- Define performance test plans, scenarios, workloads, and success criteria based on business requirements.
- Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks across applications, databases, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance using industry-standard APM and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, DevOps, and business teams to resolve performance issues.
- Prepare performance test reports, metrics, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Support performance validation for SIT, UAT, production releases, and cloud migrations.
- Drive performance tuning and optimization initiatives across enterprise applications.
Skills/Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 6+years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, Neo Load
- Experience in API, Web, Mobile, and Microservices performance testing.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics including response time, throughput, latency, scalability, and resource utilization.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Kibana.
- Good knowledge of SQL, database performance tuning, and application architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Banking and Financial Services industry experience is preferred.
