Hero Center is actively developing a SaaS platform that aims to engage over 10 million people by 2030 to contribute to a better future. The platform emphasizes societal challenges through storytelling and gamification, tackling themes such as sustainability, cybersecurity, and human rights.
As a senior PHP backend developer, you will take ownership of the reliability, security, and further development of the Hero Center platform. Your role is crucial as you ensure the backend remains stable, secure, and deployable while enhancing performance, reducing technical debt, and resolving bugs. You will also be involved in CI/CD processes, quality assurance through unit tests and code reviews, and addressing platform concerns such as database management and security.
- Stability & maintenance: improve performance, reduce technical debt, fix bugs
- CI/CD & deployments: GitLab pipelines, releases/rollbacks
