Senior Php Programmer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a capable PHP Programmer with a solid combination of architecture, design, development, and implementation experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MVC architecture-based PHP frameworks, a commitment to writing clean and testable code, and a passion for building reliable software in a collaborative environment.

Role & responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into well-structured, efficient code.
• Develop, modify, and enhance existing software modules.
• Build reusable components and plugins from scratch.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code using the LAMP stack.
• Apply test-driven development practices and contribute to unit testing and system integration testing.
• Collaborate closely with testers, UI designers, and product managers.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support code maintenance.

Requirements:

• 10 + years of experience with Laravel, Cake PHP, MySQL and at least one MVC- based PHP framework
• Proven experience in designing and building effective RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of caching strategies and tools (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and query optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the retail vertical (Inventory Management, POS, Loyalty Programs, e-commerce, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Cursor is an advantage.
