Job Summary

As a Senior Physiotherapist at Bright Steps, you will lead clinical excellence and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized rehabilitation programs, mentor staff, and contribute to management initiatives in pediatric and community rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to individual client needs to improve functional outcomes
  • Assess and evaluate clients’ rehabilitation requirements to develop targeted care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly to adjust treatment plans effectively
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and manage Individualised Care Plans from admission through discharge
  • Ensure full compliance with Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations and maintain accurate, evidence-based client documentation and databases
  • Supervise and mentor physiotherapists, students, therapy aides, caregivers, and volunteers to enhance team capabilities and service quality
  • Conduct home visits to assess client environments and provide continuity of care
  • Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, families, and colleagues to support client engagement and satisfaction
  • Oversee rehabilitation services and contribute to management team decisions to improve service delivery
  • Influence and shape innovative rehabilitation models by utilizing leading-edge equipment and facilities
  • Support additional duties as assigned by the Rehab Manager or Centre Manager to meet organizational goals

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy recognized by the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
  • Full registration with the AHPC
  • Minimum 3 years of physiotherapy experience, including work with pediatric clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with IT systems to manage clinical documentation and communication

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills demonstrated through effective interactions with pediatric clients and their families
