Summary
Provide hands-on physiotherapy assessments and treatments for mobility, strength, and balance issues in a clinical or care-management setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments addressing mobility, balance, physical strength, range of motion, cardiopulmonary endurance etc.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions including mobility and balance retraining, therapeutic exercises to improve range of motion, strength, flexibility etc.
- Monitor and review clients’ progress regularly, adjusting interventions in response to outcomes and care goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and uphold confidentiality in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Provide advice on the use of assistive devices such as walking aids etc.
- Conduct caregiver training.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic client care.
- Contribute to Inservice training, quality and service improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and conduct training to Therapy Aides (TAs) / new team members as required.
- Participate in research or audits where applicable.
- Oversees inventory management process.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree/ Master in Physiotherapy
- Registered with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in healthcare related institutions
- Service-oriented and customer-focused
- Adaptable and proactive with the ability to work under pressure
