Senior Pitch Designer
Summary
Senior Pitch Designer at Wpromote is the design lead on enterprise new business pitches, turning strategy docs, audit findings, and media plans into pitch decks, data visualizations, and motion/video assets. Core tools: PowerPoint/Google Slides, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
The Role
As Senior Pitch Designer, you will be the design lead on Wpromote's enterprise new business pursuits, and report into the Senior Director, Growth Enablement. When a large opportunity comes in, you are the person who turns strategy documents, audit findings, and media plans into visual storytelling. You will work alongside the assigned Growth Lead on each pursuit, partnering with strategists, analysts, and subject matter experts across the agency to shape how our thinking is seen and heard in the room.
This is a dedicated new business role for someone who is energized by a packed pitch calendar. As an individual contributor, you will own the visual quality and delivery readiness of every asset that goes in front of a prospect. You will also bring motion and video into our pitches, moving us beyond static slides toward sizzle reels, animated data stories, and short-form video. If you have a polished design aesthetic, deep presentation craft, and the instinct to know how to bring a narrative to life, we would love to get to know you better.
You Will Be
-
Prioritizing and managing your workload against the enterprise pursuit pipeline, proactively identifying and communicating competing deadlines or resource needs
-
Designing the full pitch deck for each assigned pursuit, from opening narrative through appendix and back pocket material, built from content approved by the Growth Lead
-
Providing custom branding and design guidelines when required as determined by the Growth Lead
-
Turning audit findings, media plans, and performance data into clear, on brand visualizations that hold up to scrutiny from a sophisticated buyer
-
Producing motion and video assets for pitches, including sizzle reels, animated case studies, transitions, and short-form video woven into the live presentation
-
Assembling case study, credentials, and team slides from our library
-
Formatting RFP and RFI written responses to brand in Word and Google Docs, including tables, exhibits, and cover treatments
-
Creating supplemental assets such as leave-behind PDFs, one pagers, capability sheets, proposal covers, and concept and activation mocks where the narrative requires them
-
Delivering presenter-ready files in every format a pitch requires (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, PDF, video) and testing them in the environment they will be presented in
-
Supporting rehearsal rounds and the live pitch itself, absorbing late changes and helping the team walk in confident
-
Building and maintaining the master pitch template, slide library, and reusable component system, and documenting it so non-designers can use it well
-
Archiving final as-delivered files, source files, linked assets, and fonts at the close of each pursuit
You Must Have
-
3+ years of design experience, with a meaningful portion of it in presentation, pitch, or new business design
-
Experience inside a performance marketing, media, or creative agency
-
A portfolio that shows decks and pitch materials you designed, ideally including work that helped win business
-
Expert level command of PowerPoint and Google Slides, including master layouts, animation, and the practical realities of building files that survive being handed off
-
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma
Video editing and motion graphics ability in Premiere Pro and After Effects, or comparable tools, sufficient to cut and finish pitch video independently -
Genuine skill at data visualization, and the judgment to know when a number needs a chart and when it needs a single large word
-
Comfort working from strategy and analytics inputs, and the confidence to ask a strategist what a slide is actually trying to prove
-
Strong time management and the composure to work under real deadline pressure, including compressed pitch windows
-
Excellent collaborative instincts, and a track record of taking direction from senior stakeholders without losing your own point of view
-
Availability to flex during active pitch windows, including occasional evenings and weekends near a deadline
-
Familiarity with the technical aspects of digital and print production deliverables
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with RFP and RFI processes and proposal software
- Experience building or maintaining a brand or presentation design system
- Knowledge of Asana or similar project management tools
- Light copy editing ability, enough to tighten a headline that is not working
- Sound design and music selection instincts for video work
