Senior PL/SQL Developer – Banking & ODS
We are seeking a skilled Senior PL/SQL Developer with 7+ years of experience in developing and optimizing database solutions for ODS and banking environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, data warehousing, ODS concepts, and database performance tuning. Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL code, including procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Design and maintain ODS data models and data flows for core banking, cards, payments, and other banking systems.
- Perform query and database performance tuning.
- Support data integration from multiple banking source systems.
- Participate in the complete SDLC, including development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Troubleshoot database issues and prepare technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with security, access control, SAMA, and banking regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on PL/SQL development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience in banking or financial services projects.
- Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing / ODS concepts.
- Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia (Required).
- Knowledge of SAMA regulations, data privacy, audit, and reporting requirements.
- Understanding of database security and access control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD and database deployment automation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
- Knowledge of ETL tools.
