Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning &Claims Specialist to support a project in South Korea on a freelance basis.

The successful candidate will provide Primavera P6planning expertise while supporting the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT),Variation Order (VO) and delay claims. The role will involve analysing project schedules, assessing the impact of project changes and preparing documentation to support potential dispute resolution.

Experience within offshore wind, marine, EPC or heavy construction projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain Primavera P6 project schedules.
  • Perform schedule updates and progress monitoring.
  • Analyse project delays and identify impacts to the critical path.
  • Conduct delay analysis and schedule impact assessments.
  • Support preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
  • Assess Variation Order (VO) impacts on project schedule.
  • Prepare planning reports, progress updates and schedule narratives.
  • Work closely with project management, engineering and commercial teams.
  • Support dispute preparation through robust schedule analysis and documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders where required.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls.
  • Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting claims, EOT and VO preparation.
  • Strong understanding of critical path methodology (CPM) and delay analysis techniques.
  • Experience on EPC, offshore wind, marine, oil and gas or major infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous involvement in claims and dispute resolution.
  • Experience supporting arbitration or expert witness documentation.
  • Experience working in South Korea or on Korean projects.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC or other major construction contracts.
  • Immediate availability.
