Senior Platform Engineer

Salary: $7,500 – $9,500 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain reliable, secure and high-performing platform infrastructure across cloud or on-premises environments.

• Manage infrastructure platforms, virtualization, servers, networking and cloud services based on project requirements.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management and automation to support consistent deployments.

• Deploy and manage containerized platforms, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.

• Collaborate with developers, architects and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance and improve system reliability.

• Implement security controls, support compliance requirements, maintain technical documentation and contribute to disaster recovery and operational continuity.

Key Requirements

• Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering or infrastructure operations in cloud or on-premises environments.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management solutions.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and familiarity with CI/CD practices.

• Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, monitoring and observability tools, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.

• Good to have: experience in SRE, high-availability systems, disaster recovery, GCC environments, data platforms or regulatory compliance for critical infrastructure.
