The role
This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the technology. You’ll be working from established architectural patterns and taking responsibility for turning those designs into working cloud infrastructure, supporting migrations through to production and solving complex platform issues along the way.

- Building and configuring AWS infrastructure and platform services
- Migrating workloads into the AWS New Zealand Region
- Delivering networking, connectivity and security components
- Developing and improving Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Supporting migration cutovers, testing and production releases
- Troubleshooting cloud, infrastructure and connectivity issues
- Supporting critical production environments
- Working closely with architects, cloud, network and delivery teams
You’ll bring:
- Strong hands-on AWS engineering experience
- Proven experience delivering cloud migrations in enterprise environments
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code capability
- Solid networking knowledge across routing, DNS, firewalls and VPNs
- Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
- Experience supporting production and business-critical platforms
- The ability to work independently and move quickly in a fast-paced delivery environment
