Senior Platform Engineer (Cloud, Melbourne)

Are you the kind of engineer who'd rather automate a 4-hour job down to 20 minutes than do it twice?

We're helping a leading bank find a Senior Platform Engineer who knows their way around cloud infrastructure, automation, and incident response. You'll work across multiple environments (SIT, Perf, Dev, Prod), diving into logs, deployments, and post-mortems all while scripting the boring stuff away.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing and supporting enterprise-scale environments

• Automating manual processes (Python, Go, Bash, Terraform)

• Digging into logs (Grafana, OpenSearch, AppDynamics, Kibana)

• Driving change management (ServiceNow)

• Production support, patching, incident resolution

• Working across Azure (bonus if you've dabbled in AWS or GCP too)

Youve probably done stuff like:

• Built robust CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Owned end-to-end observability and infrastructure monitoring

• Worked in banks or other complex enterprise environments

• Mentored, documented, and improved the way teams work
