A senior platform engineer builds an internal developer platform on AWS, Kubernetes, and GitOps, creating reusable components, self-service APIs/tooling, and streamlined CI/CD workflows to improve developer productivity, including use of AI-assisted development tools.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer / Developer Experience Engineer is suited for someone with a strong software development background who has transitioned into Platform Engineering and understands developers’ day-to-day needs. You will contribute to building an internal developer platform using AWS, Kubernetes, and GitOps, focusing on reusable capabilities, standardized tooling, and improving developer productivity
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science,or a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and Build Scalable Developer Platforms: Create reusable components, APIs, and self-service solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code to simplify infrastructure management through higher-level abstractions.
Enhance Developer Experience and Workflows: Collaborate with development teams using a product mindset to streamline CI/CD, local development, and deployments, leveraging AI-assisted tools to boost overall productivity and reduce complexity.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Development , or related fields.
- Strong background in software development, preferably backend or full-stack development.
- Experience transitioning into Platform Engineering , Developer Experience (DevEx), or Developer Productivity.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and its ecosystem .
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience developing Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), developer tooling, APIs, CLIs, or self-service solutions.
- Understanding of developers’ daily workflows, including local development, testing, CI/CD, deployments, and debugging.
- Experience or interest in AI-assisted development and modern developer tooling. AI must be clearly stated in the CV.
