Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for enterprise applications. The role involves collaborating with development teams to understand application requirements, implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, ensuring security compliance, and optimizing platform efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience in platform engineering, Agile practices, identity and access management (IAM), and cloud/infrastructure design.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Design & Implementation
- Design and implement scalable and reliable platform infrastructure for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure the platform supports application requirements.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software deployment.
- Apply Agile methodologies to manage development and operations workflows.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Continuously monitor platform and application performance.
- Define and track key metrics to optimize platform efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide technical support to development teams.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Ensure platform compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with IAM teams to manage access controls and authentication mechanisms.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform architecture, processes, and configurations.
- Share knowledge with team members and contribute to operational continuity.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance platform capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–8 years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Strong understanding of system performance monitoring and optimization.
- Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Solid understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and technical support skills.
- Excellent documentation and knowledge‑sharing abilities.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
