Senior Platform Engineer

You will own and evolve AWS and Kubernetes foundations, develop infrastructure as code, and support security, product, and data workloads. You will define reliability objectives, improve monitoring and alerting, measure system health and performance, manage incidents, and address technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve AWS and Kubernetes EKS foundations
• Develop and release infrastructure as code
• Partner with security, product, and data teams on platform support
• Define SLOs, SLIs, monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
• Set observability standards
• Measure system health, scalability, and performance metrics
• Improve incident management, automation, and remediation
• Maintain services, address technical debt, and develop architecture patterns

Requirements

• Data reliability and observability experience
• Freshness, anomaly, and schema-drift monitoring experience
• Data SLO experience
• AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Lambda, serverless, networking, and multi-AZ knowledge
• Terraform, CI/CD, and observability experience
• Go experience or ability to learn new languages
• AI-assisted development experience
• Identity resolution, consent, or authentication data modelling experience
• On-call ownership and alert-fatigue knowledge
