Senior Platform Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with a solid background in platform engineering, infrastructure, or backend development to join an international project. In this role, you will help design, build, and scale robust distributed systems in modern, cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native architectures and containerized services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and manage configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Integrate and maintain core identity, event-streaming, and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of distributed systems.

Requirements

• Kubernetes: Strong hands-on experience orchestrating and managing containerized workloads in production.
• Core Tech Stack: Proven experience with Terraform, Keycloak, and Apache Kafka.
• Distributed Systems: Solid understanding of modern distributed architectures, networking, and microservices patterns.
• Languages: Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Backend development background in Java and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge or fluency in German (strong advantage).
• Practical experience building automated workflows with n8n.
